A Squirrel fighting a pigeon over a pretzel is something most city folk have witnessed. This design came to Ashley after she was going through old photos. She came across a photo of a squirrel eating a cookie that they stole from an even at the Wharton School. She also remembered a pigeon trying to get some grub and a squirrel fighting it off.
The city is such a random place where critters get cocky and go after what they want. Ashley also had a pet squirrel at one point. Her roommates would feed the squirrel peanuts after sounding a gong. It lived in the abandoned house next door and came in through the window.
Now she never had a squirrel fighting a pigeon over a pretzel like this design but it sure does remind her of that time she was closer with the city critters.
